Despite Miller’s injury, the Bills still managed to salvage a win against the Lions ending in a 25- 28 scoreline.
Von Miller Injury Update
The injury took place late in the second quarter of the Buffalo Bills vs Detroit Lions, which ended 26-28 in favour of the Bills. During the match, Miller hit the deck on a seven-yard completion from Jared Goff to Kalif Raymond. He managed to walk off the field by himself.
However, after Miller went into the tent for the Bills athletic trainers to have a look, they had to cart him off to the locker room. Following the events, officials ruled out the NFL linebacker for the rest of the game on account of a knee injury.
NFL Insider Adam Schefter, and NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport both reported that Miller sustained a sprained knee. However, more updates about the injury are awaited as Von Miller undergoes an MRI scan to determine further details.
A Massive Blow For The Bills
Miller’s injury is a massive blow to the Bills and their defense as they have been suffering from a flurry of defensive injuries. Currently, all-Pro safety Micah Hyde, is already out for the year following a neck injury.
Their defensive end Greg Rousseau and linebacker Tremaine Edmunds are also currently out with injuries. Amidst all these injuries, Von Miller’s injury seems to be the biggest blow yet, as he is a strong defensive leader for the Bills and acts as a closer of games.
However, despite all these bad news, the Buffalo Bills still managed to receive a bit of good news on Thanksgiving morning. The team’s cornerback Tre’Davious White, managed to return for a start for the game on Thursday.
