Michael Vaughan was far from impressed with the decision making of Virat Kohli on day 2 of the 3rd Leeds test match between England and India
At a time when India’s commentary panel and experts, especially the likes of Sanjay Manjrekar and Aakash Chopra have been way too eager to jump into Virat Kohli’s bed, a string of people have rightfully gone onto question the Indian captain.
In the midst of his worst form with the bat with him not scoring a century since November 2019, a period entailing 50 innings, Kohli has lost his sheen as a cricketer. However, he has refused to be deterred, engaging in the same antics and squabbles on the pitch with him way too eager to show off his decadent personality.
Where his batting has waned, Kohli’s captaincy hasn’t improved a bit. The Indian player has continued to make the same horrid decisions as a captain with him making some bemusing decisions during the ongoing third test match at Leeds between England and India.

And Michael Vaughan, previous English cricketer was quick to question Kohli’s decision making on day 2 of the Headingley test match. While Vaughan has over the last year gone onto make a slew of outlandish statements pertaining to Indian cricket, his current comments do hold weight.
“Ishant Sharma was by far the worst Indian seamer yesterday. You start with him the next day, in an hour that you have to win, you surely go to your best bowler, Jasprit Bumrah. Shami didn’t take the new ball yesterday for whatever reason. And Virat will have to answer it and he will have to answer it quite heavily,” Vaughan.
