Who Is Vijaya Gadde?
Gadde was born in India to a Telugu family in 1974 and came to the United States when she was three years old with her father wanting to pursue his education there and is currently aged 47 years Her family relocated to the city of Beaumont, Texas. She’s a prominent Indian-American counsel who’s been at the heart of Twitter’s major decisions.
She graduated from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations and the New York University School of Law with a Juris Doctor in 2000.
Gadde is also a co-founder of the #ANGELS investing group. She also serves on the boards of directors of Mercy Corps, a humanitarian relief organisation, and Guardant Health, a precision oncology firm.
Gadde is married to Ramsey Homsany and had a daughter.

Gadde started her legal career in October 2000 at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, after receiving her law degree. She spent nearly a decade with the business. She joined Juniper Networks’ legal team as a senior director and associate corporate counsel in October 2010. She quit her job to join Twitter.
