She did her schooling at Poddar School, Mumbai. She went to Cambridge School in Kandivli, Mumbai. At St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai, she studied mathematics and economics. In 2018, she was included in Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 list, as well as Fortune’s 40 Under 40 and Bloomberg 50 in 2019.

Bose began her work as an investment analyst at Sequoia Capital in 2014 after a brief stint at McKinsey & Company in 2012. Her time at Sequoia helped her establish the company, she claimed.
Bose quit her job as an investment analyst at Sequoia Capital in 2015 to start her own firm, Zilingo, which was co-founded seven years ago by Dhruv Kapoor (Chief Technology and Product Officer) to enable small companies in South and Southeast Asia to sell their products online.
In 2016, she relocated to Singapore to work on Zilingo software and supply chain solutions. Zilingo swept the market with millions of users in a short time and currently has operations in Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand, the Philippines, Australia, India, and the United States.
When Zilingo received $226 million from Sequoia and Temasek in 2019, Bose was hailed as a visionary who had transformed the entrepreneurial game in Southeast Asia, with the company’s valuation rising to $970 million. She was just 27 years old at the time.
