George Watts, an Arsenal supporter posted a video of himself going bonkers and tearing into Mikel Arteta on Twitter after the defeat to Chelsea on Sunday at the Emirates
Being an Arsenal supporter is the worst punishment you can give to yourself these days. Supporting the club is an aberration, a side which is no longer identified as a football club but a meme.
Playing a massive part in that narrative along with the club’s ever dwindling performances are portals like AFTV, ones which thrive on the club’s downtick in form. Hiding behind the facade of being the voice of the fans, these outlets have done nothing else but rope in brain dead fanatics, one who have provided frenzied reactions ensuing the club’s defeats.
And with Arsenal’s defeats never ending, opposition supporters have regaled themselves in such kind of over the top outbursts. Given the consummate success AFTV has tasted over the years, a slew of Arsenal supporters have been inclined to follow the business model.

While the video was blatantly rehearsed with Watts’ reactions clearly orchestrated and fake, the video does make for bemusing viewing when its paired alongside Arsenal’s plight. The club which is yet to score in the league is all set to slump to its third successive defeat next week when it takes on Manchester City.
