Philipp Fusz, a former Jehovah’s Witness and freelance consultant, has been named as the suspect in the mass shooting at a Jehovah’s Witnesses Center in Hamburg, Germany with his video now viral on Twitter
At least seven people were killed and eight more were hurt by the 35-year-old. A video shows the gunman shooting through a window before entering the building and firing as many as nine magazines before turning the gun on himself. The number of deaths could go up, says Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Authorities say that Fusz had left the congregation 18 months before the attack because he had a fight with other members. He says that he grew up in the Alps in a very religious family and then went to Munich to study business.

Police had visited Fusz last month due to concerns about his mental health, and he had owned the handgun used in the attack legally through his membership in a local gun club.
In January, Fusz was thought to be mentally unstable and hate Jehovah’s Witnesses, according to a tip from an anonymous source to the city’s gun authority.
