Know the identity of Rohit Yadav, who brutally murdered his ex-girlfriend Aarti Yadav in Vasai as seen in a viral video
In a shocking incident in Vasai’s East Chinchpada area near Mumbai, a 20-year-old man named Rohit Yadav allegedly beat his ex-girlfriend, Aarti Yadav, to death with a spanner this morning. The brutal attack, captured on CCTV, occurred around 8:30 am as Aarti was on her way to work. Disturbingly, a crowd of pedestrians did nothing to intervene.

What happened to Aarti Yadav?
Law enforcers have been able to establish from the latest footage on the CCTV that 20 year old Rohit Yadav has come behind Aarti with a spanner. He brutally hit her repeatedly over her head causing her dead body to lie cold on the sidewalk. Another observer of this sad scene tried to intervene but withdrew when he saw Rohit wielding the spanner in a threatening manner.
In another sequence captured later by one camera, Rohit stood over Aarti’s motionless body yelling accusations at her. Before running away from the crime scene, he struck her again and left behind the weapon. Soon after that, Rohit Yadav was apprehended by authorities and they are going to charge him with murder. They suspect that detectives believe that this violent act was borne out of extreme emotional disturbance as a result of his separation from Aarti.
Why Rohit killed Aarti?
Sania Yadav, who is Aarti Yadav’s sibling brings up that Rohit had been tormenting Aarti days before the incidence which includes physical assault and damage of her property. Even though the family lodged a complaint, it is alleged that Rohit was only issued with a warning by the authorities and let go without further action having been taken on him. Sania is determined to make justice be served for her late sister, 20 year old Aarti Yadav.

The police sources indicate that the incident involves an affair of hearts. Reports also explain that Rohit had been in love with Aarti since three years ago but due to his unfaithfulness and frequent quarrels they were rumored to have broken up. Consequently, this incidence has caused public anger especially concerning their lack of response during the assault. Rohit Yadav’s trial on murder charges is set for hearing next week.
