Only one day after his son Asad Ahmed’s death in encounter, the infamous SP politician Atiq Ahmed has passed away with his death video and pictures viral on Twitter
Asad Ahmed, who was wanted owing to his connection with the murder of Umesh Pal, was shot to death in an encounter in Jhansi by members of the Special Task Force of the Uttar Pradesh Police. After that, both his uncle Ashraf Ahmed and notorious father Atiq Ahmed were shot to death by unknown assailants.

What happened to Atiq Ahmed?
While being transported for a medical checkup in Prayagraj, gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed was shot to death alongside his brother Ashraf Ahmed. Later, it was noticed that police were removing Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed’s bullet-riddled bodies from the scene. They were being brought to Prayagraj’s MLN Medical College for a medical evaluation when the shooting allegedly occurred. It is rumored that up to three people started shooting at the Ahmad brothers and owing to this, funeral services for Asad Ahamd were held on Saturday without his father Atiq.
How did Atiq Ahmed die, son’s death, & reason of criminal tag
Atiq Ahmed was charged with murder in both the February 2017 Umesh Pal murder case as well as the 2005 BSP MLA Raju Pal murder case. On April 13, during an encounter in Jhansi when he was attempting to flee, Asad Ahmed was arrested alongside fellow Umesh Pal murder suspect Ghulam. However, their resistance to capture by police compelled the authorities to take safety measure and kill Asad.
The Uttar Pradesh Police were questioning Atiq and Ashraf on Saturday at the Dhoomanganj police station. After killing Atiq Ahmad and Ashraf while chanting “Jai Shri Ram,” the assailants were caught by the police. Police on the scene stated that the attackers have not yet been questioned and that they will only speak after they have. It is reported that the police has recovered imported weapons from the scene although the identity of attackers is yet-to-be revealed.
