The United States Football League (USFL) was a three-year American football league that ran from 1983 to 1985, know the all time winners list
In each of its active seasons, the league played a spring/summer schedule. The 1986 season was set to take place in the autumn/winter season, directly competing with the long-established National Football League (NFL). However, the USFL halted operations before the start of that season.
History of USFL:
The USFL was established in 1965 by New Orleans businessman David Dixon, who envisioned a market for a professional football league that would play in the summer, while the NFL and college football was in their off-seasons. Dixon was a crucial figure in the development of the Louisiana Superdome and the NFL’s expansion into New Orleans in 1967.
He created “The Dixon Plan,” a model for the USFL centered on obtaining NFL-caliber stadiums in major TV markets, gaining a national TV broadcast deal, and managing expenditure, and found investors prepared to back him up.

On the field, the USFL was thought to be a solid product. Many future top NFL players and coaches, including some who were eventually inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and/or the College Football Hall of Fame, got their start in the new league. In 1983, the Michigan Panthers were the first team to win the USFL title.
The Philadelphia Stars won the second USFL championship in 1984, and the Baltimore Stars won the last USFL championship in 1985, in what was basically a replay of the first USFL title game, after relocating to Baltimore.
The following are the standings of the United States Football League from its inception in 1983 until its demise in 1985. Because several teams moved localities during their existence, the team names in the standings follow their most current names.

Anyone who is injured, suspended, or inactive, as with the win incentives, will be ineligible for the bonus until the USFL rules differently.
An active player on an undefeated, championship-winning team might earn up to $75,750 after receiving 11 victory bonuses, 12 weeks on the active roster, four weeks of training camp, and the championship bonus.
