At the 2023 US Open, top-seeded Kunlavut Vitidsarn ended Lin Chun-yi’s remarkable run on Saturday in order to qualify the championship match. With his resounding performance, the Thai shuttler won by score of 21-14, 21-17 against the Taiwanese star. In the other semi-final, third-seed Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen succumbed to defeat against second-seed Li Shifeng by score of 17-21, 24-22, 17-21 and crashed out from the competition. US Open 2023: prize money distribution
It is reported that the prize fund for the 2023 US Open will reach $210,000 because it is a prominent BWF World Tour Super 300 tournament. Each winner in the singles category will receive $15,750, and each winning combination in the doubles category will receive $16,590. Lakshya Sen will receive $3,045 in prize money after his valiant semi-final loss against Li Shifeng.
