The United States Football League (USFL) is all set to host its 2023 season, and ahead of the official start, fans are eager to find out the full list of teams names
The USFL will not have the same number of teams as the NFL, as only 8 teams will take part in the competition, divided into two divisions.

Ahead of the start of the new season, there were talks of a possible expansion, however, there was no further development, and only 8 teams are slated to participate.
USFL teams and squads
Just like the in the NFL, the USFL teams are also named after the hub cities that they are representing. The cities that will host the USFL teams represent cities that are known to be usually packed with football fans. As such, the attendance numbers for the USFL games are expected to be on the higher side.
Each of the eight teams will have squads with a total of upto 40 active players for the 2023 season. Besides the 40 players, teams will also have another 10 inactive players. Meanwhile the training camps will begin with as much as 58 players on the roster.

So far, only one team has been removed from the roster. The Tampa Bay Bandits tapped out of the USFL, and are now replaced by the Memphis Showboats. Two teams will each share a stadiums at the same time throughout the competition. Given below is the full list of teams an the cities they represent along with their head coaches:
