The 2023 United States Football League (USFL) is all set to feature top-notch football across the last spring window, check out the full list of head coaches for each team
The competition will feature eight teams playing against each other across a span of ten weeks.

Jeff Fisher has signed with the USFL's Michigan Panthers to become their first-ever head coach.

Although the USFL may be smaller in comparison to the NFL or XFL, each of the eight franchises will have top head coaches for the 2023 season.
Despite the smaller size of the league, it is expected to feature a level of play similar to the NFL. This is because most of the head coaches are well versed with the best game strategies of the best football league in the country.

A USFL coach is most likely paid in the $50,000 to $100,000 range per season and they may be given bonuses for high performance or other team initiatives.
Mike Nolan
Team – Michigan Panthers
Mike Nolan has a lot of NFL experience having coached from 1987 to 2020. He mostly served as a defensive coach for teams like the Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, and several others. Throughout his career, his only job as the head coach in the NFL was with the 49ers from 2005-2008.
Bart Andrus
Team – Philadelphia Stars
Bart Andrus mostly worked as a college football coach but also served as an offensive assistant with the Tennessee Oilers, St. Louis Rams, and Tennessee Titans. Andrus has served as the head coach for different college teams.
Mike Riley
Team – New Jersey Generals
Riley was the USFL Coach of the year for the 2022 season who served as the Seattle Dragons’ (XFL) head coach before joining the USFL. He also worked as the head coach with the Chargers 1999-2001 in the NFL, before serving as the Saints Assistant HC in 2002.
Ray Horton
Team – Pittsburgh Maulers
This is the first time for Horton in the USFL, he has been working in the NFL since 1994 until his last job during 2019 as Defensive backs coach for the Washington Commanders.
Skip Holtz
Team – Birmingham Stallions
The defending champions have one of the best head coaches for the 2023 season. Holtz won 9 games during his first USFL season including the championship title. All his previous experience was as a college coach in different jobs, OC, HC, AHC, WRC.
John DeFilippo
Team – New Orleans Breakers
John last worked in the NFL with the Chicago Bears as their passing game coordinator and QB coach. Aside from that, DeFilippo has worked with eight different NFL teams in his career since 2005. Most of his experience as a coach comes as a quarterbacks coach.
Curtis Johnson
Team – Houston Gamblers
Curtis Johnson served as the wide receivers coach when the New Orleans Saints won Super Bowl XLIV back in 2010.The Saints won 31-17 over the Indianapolis Colts and it was Curtis’ first job in the NFL. He also worked with the Bears in a similar role.
Todd Haley
Team – Memphis Showboats
Todd started out his career in 1995 against the New York Jets, with his first job as a Scouting Assistant. He eventually ended up working as the head coach for the Kansas City Chiefs from 2009 to 2011. Throughout his career, Todd has worked as the offensive coordinator for three NFL teams.
