Despite his defeat, Chris Curtis stands to earn a considerably higher sum from the fight. Given his past earnings, it’s expected that Chris will pocket well over $100,000 for the bout. Meanwhile, Brendan Allen will walk away with nearly $100,000 as the winner of UFC Vegas 90โs main event.
Although Chepe Mariscal and Morgan Charriere weren’t in the headline spot, they fought with the intensity of main event contenders. Mariscal kept his winning streak alive, and both fighters can rightfully take pride in their performance, earning $50,000 bonuses each for showcasing the Fight of the Night. Additionally, Ignacio Bahamondes and Cesar Almeida bagged the Performance of the Night bonuses for executing remarkable finishing moves.

Originally scheduled to face Marvin Vettori, who withdrew due to injury, Allen found himself matched with Curtis as a replacement opponent on short notice. Having suffered a knockout defeat against Curtis in 2021, Allen entered the octagon ready for a demanding battle.
Throughout the intense 25-minute bout, the middleweight contenders engaged in a relentless exchange, each seizing moments of dominance. Ultimately, Allen’s skill in securing advantageous grappling positions, combined with a decisive flurry of strikes in the closing moments, tipped the scales in his favor.
In the end, the judges scored the contest 49-46 and 48-47 in favor of Allen, while one dissented with a 48-47 scorecard for Curtis. This victory marked Allen’s seventh consecutive triumph, further solidifying his rise in the 185-pound rankings.
