MMA Insider has revealed the salary for UFC referee and judge; here is how much they earn per event
The UFC hosts some of the most dramatic and intense fight endings, whether it’s by submission stoppage or KO/TKO, but the referee, who stands as the third man inside the Octagon, can lessen a fighter’s injuries.
Referees are not directly hired by promotions like UFC. The officials for these promotions are instead hired by the Athletic Commission (NSAC).

The referee is very important part of any match. Judges in the UFC are scrutinised for making dubious judgements, just as in any other sport. The decision they make is what is to be followed.
They assess incidental and intentional fouls, determines if a fighter can continue fighting, determines how and when to start or end the bout, and notifies the other fighters of the laws.
Meanwhile, the more the hard work and responsibilities, the more people think about how much do they get paid for their work. So, how much do they bag for an event? Have a look.
How much do the referees and judges get paid for am event?
Judges receive about $1,600 for each UFC event, according to official data from the California Commission. On the other hand, the referees get paid around $1,900 for each event.
Additionally, referees for the Ultimate Fighting Championship receive higher standard compensation, particularly when they officiate pay-per-view events. The type of matches Herb Dean oversees determines the range of his compensation. He typically makes around $2,500 from the main schedule matches, although he occasionally makes up to $15,000 from well-known competitions.
