UFC Paris Fight Night 209 Full Fight Card Winner And Results
When he defeated Tai Tuivasa in the main event of the UFC’s first-ever card in France, Ciryl Gane completed a perfect sweep for France. At 4:23 in the third round of main event at UFC Fight Night 209, Gane defeated the tough Tuivasa with strikes, much to the pleasure of the audience in his own nation.
Despite the boisterous singing of the French national anthem by the spectators, the opening round was modest. As many predicted, Gane used a lot of footwork and bounced around the cage in order to save energy while Tuivasa moved cautiously forward using leg kicks. In Round 2, though, everything went off the rails as Tuivasa dropped the former interim UFC heavyweight champion and pounced after Gane’s strike left him with an open wound.
After Gane was almost finished in the second round, he returned to hammer Tuivasa with a series of kicks to the body, setting up a devastating barrage of punches that eventually ended the fight. At 4:23 in the third round, Tuivasa lost his composure and fell to the ground but referee Marc Goddard saved him from more harm, and Gane rose to join the Paris audience in celebrating.

UFC Fight Night 209 Bonus Prizes and Fight of the Nightย
At UFC Paris, Ciryl Gane and Tai Tuivasa impressed the crowd, earning them the distinction of Fight of the Night. A back-and-forth brawl between the heavyweights that finished in the third round with a violent barrage of punches from Gane, earned each fighter an extra $50,000.
Benoit Saint Denis of France received an additional $50,000 check for his brutal knockout of Gabriel Miranda on the undercard, and prelim main event winner Abus Magomedov was justly awarded the same sum for his knockout of Dustin Stolzfus, which was precipitated by a perfectly timed front kick to the face.
