For the unversed, UFC 303 was initially projected to generate the highest revenue for this year. However, the main event attraction, Conor McGregor, had to withdraw due to an injury.

McGregor’s absence, gave a significant blow given his track record of driving high pay-per-view numbers, led to a reshuffling of the fight card.

However, Alex Pereira stepped up to save the event against Jiri Prochazka, and both fighters will receive a larger purse than their contract due to their willingness to fight on short notice.

Pereira’s & Prochazka Estimated Earning

In an interview earlier, Pereira reveal that UFC 303 is the biggest purse he has negotiated in his career.

Both fighters last competed at UFC 300 in April, now showed us an impressive bout, potentially increasing their payouts.

Earlier, reports claimed that Pereira was expected to earn $3 million, while Prochazka was estimated to earn $1 million.

A co-main event also witness at UFC 303, featuring Brian Ortega against Diego Lopes. Earlier reports indicated Orteg to have a base salary of $300,000 with a $100,000 win bonus.

While, Lopes, who last fought at UFC 300, is expected to earn around $86,000. Ortega revealed his plan to donate $100,000 of his purse to Fearless Church in Los Angeles.

Additionally, Anthony Smith, will face Roman Dolidze. Smith is expected to receive his base salary of $200,000, with Dolidze’s payout anticipated to be upwards of $100,000.

Irish rising star Ian Garry is slated to earn $85,000 for his fight against English star Michael ‘Venom’ Page, who is expected to take home between $150,000 and $200,000.

Speaking about the fights, Alex Pereira gave the UFC and its fans plenty to celebrate.

Stepping in on short notice against a dangerous opponent he had defeated just seven months ago, Pereira put on an impressive encore against Jiri Prochazka in the main event.

And for his best efforts, the light heavyweight champion was awarded with $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.

Fight of the Night honor went to featherweight veterans Andre Fili and Cub Swanson.

The two clashed on the preliminary portion of the card, with Fili eking out a close split decision.

Macy Chiasson was the other main card fighter to receive an extra $50,000 after she scored the biggest win of her career over recent bantamweight title challenger Mayra Bueno Silva.

An elbow from Chiasson opened a gaping cut over Silva’s right eye, forcing a doctor stoppage.

Talbott, a blue-chip bantamweight prospect, needed just 19 seconds to put Yanis Ghemmouri out, while Pyfer bounced back from his first UFC loss by smashing Marc-Andre Barriault in under half a minute.
