Read on to know how Conor McGregor played it dirty in a pre-match press conference ahead of UFC 264 and his tiff with a reporter
Even before their prefight prefight conference began on Thursday, Conor McGregor went after Dustin ‘The Diamond’ Poirier. As both of the fighters stepped onto the stage for the Las Vegas event, the Mystic Mac grabbed Poirier’s Louisiana Style Hot Sauce that was on display and dumped its contents onto the stage.
If that sounds dirty, wait till you watch him throw the same hot sauce at Poirier’s face. Though the crowd went bonkers, UFC President Dana White had to separate the two fighters, with the help of the event staff.

Unlike the respect he had towards Poirier before their second fight in which he had lost, Conor McGregor does not mind going back to his salty tactics in order to get inside The Diamond’s head ahead of their UFC 264 main event fight on Saturday, 10th July. This was merely just the beginning of a heated press conference which saw a lot of name-calling and trash talking. One time, he said that we put holes through Dustin’s head and take it off his shoulders. Though McGregor’s affronts were largely aimed at Poirier, his retort to one particular reporter in a pink suit has gone viral.

The reporter in pink suit made a risky remark about McGregor winning just one fight since former President Barack Obama was in office. As the crowd started roaring again, McGregor immediately took over the mic and told the reporter to watch out, or else he’ll come down there and smack him. Conor was clearly fuming at the reporter’s remarks and went on to throw quite a few strong insults at him.
But the pink suit reporter kept pushing him and questioning why McGregor thought that their main event fight would end any differently as the second one in which he had recurred a hard lost. However, McGregor continued to maintain a cocky, brave face explaining how their second fight was only a fluke, which would be corrected by him this Saturday.
"I'll come down there and smack you?"
Is the guy in the pink suit aiming to be the back-up fighter?
