UAE’s International league T20 is set to begin for the first time in January 2023, know the UAE ILT20 squad teams players list and schedule
The clash between the schedule of Inaugural ILT20 and BBL might cause some problems in Australian players’ availability. The UAE league will consist of 6 franchises. Russell, Moeen and, Hasaranga are among the big names to feature in ILT20.

Making its debut in January (2023), the inaugural ILT20 will be played in a 34-match format across the UAE’s exemplary, world-class Cricket facilities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, and will be broadcast live on ZEE’s linear television as well as on digital streaming platform ZEE5.
Franchise teams are Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (Kolkata Knight Riders), Desert Vipers (Lancer Capital), Dubai Capitals (GMR), Gulf Giants (Adani Sportsline), MI Emirates (Reliance Industries), and Sharjah Warriors (Capri Global).

The league will have 6 Franchises
The teams are owned mainly by Indian corporate giants who also have franchises in IPL too. Capri Global, Kolkata Knight riders, Lancer Capital, Adani Sportsline, GMR, and Reliance Digital are the owners of 6 franchises. These six franchises will have a right to sign any player among the 21 marque players.
India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh players unlikely to feature in ILT20
The ILT20 Will feature some of the top players of the world except Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi players. BCCI doesn’t provide NOC to the Indian player to play in any foreign T20 league. Pakistan and Bangladesh will have a packed international schedule in January because of which players are unlikely to participate in the tournament.
David Warner will not feature in the league as he will play BBL after 9 years. Earlier the southpaw was looking forward to playing in the UAE ILT20 but the CA(cricket Australia) said that Warner will play in the BBL this season.

Moeen Ali, Andre Russel, Dawid Malan, Wanindu Hasaranga, Sunil Narine, Evin Lewis, Colin Munro, Fabian Allen, Sam Billings, Tom Curran, Alex Hales, Dushmantu Chameera, Shimron Hetmyer, Akeal Hosein, Chris Jordan, Tom Banton, Sandeep Lamichane, Chris Lynn, Rovman Powell, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, and Mujeeb Ur Rehman.
The league will have 34 matches
In the ILT20 34 matches will be played where each team will face the other twice. The top 4 teams in the points table will qualify for the playoffs. The league will be played in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.
Each team will have 18 players in the squad at least 2 players will be from associate nations. 4 players are mandatory to pick from UAE national side.
