Despite having a long list of injured players, Eric Spoelstra’s club was even more outstanding thanks to Jimmy Butler and his exceptional playoff gene. Tyler Herro has been missing since the opening round of play. He’s not expected to show up anytime soon, which is unfortunate. He was listed as out for the upcoming game against the Knicks on Miami’s injury report.
Miami and the Knicks will now meet in the Eastern Conference Finals. When in the series will Herro be available for the Heat? Below are the most recent updates from The SportsGrail.
What ailment has Tyler Herro?
During a diving catch during the second quarter of Game 1 between the Heat and Bucks, Herro hurt his right hand. He continued to play the rest of the half, but as soon as the buzzer sounded, he dashed inside the locker room. The Heat revealed that Herro had broken his right hand just before the start of the second half.
How much time will Tyler Herro miss?
According to Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, the star guard will be out for “approximately 4-6 weeks” due to broken fingers on his shooting hand, the middle and ring fingers.
Herro would be ready around May 15, which would be Game 7 of the series, if he is able to return more quickly than the four-week period. If the Heat defeats the Knicks, Herro might not be available to them until the Eastern Conference Finals.
