That evening, Ki-young reflects on his discussion with Hye-Joo. There, he advised her to apologize despite the fact that she had done nothing wrong. He makes it apparent that his intention is just to make Seunghee’s -life easier because his mother-in-law is not mentally fit and her apologizing is the only thing that might possibly put everything partially right.
In the meantime, Hye-Joo suddenly runs into Soo-bin outside the workplace as it is raining. In spite of her apology for going into the office without consent, Soo-bin affirms that she needed to check the dryer since Hye-Joo was nowhere to be found. Hye-Joo hugs her and begs her never again to put herself in danger for her. Later, in the episode, we find out that Soo-bin has miscarried.
