List Of The Top Selling NBA 2021-22 Jerseys By State And Most Popular Players
Surprisingly, there are only seven current NBA players that made the list of the most selling jerseys in the state. Many of you would be surprised to not see this name on the list. Yes! The Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry doesn’t make the list! He led until the first half of the season.
The seven players comprise LeBron James, Damian Lillard, Donovan Mitchell, Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Trae Young and Jayson Tatum.
LeBron James And Lakers Top The List
Shooting guard of Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James along with the team are selling most of their jerseys and are at the top in 30 states of United States.
The Bulls Lead The Second-Most States
After the Lakers in 30 states, the Bulls lead as the second most team topping in eight states.
Michael Jordan led in three states namely Illinois, Delaware and South Dakota and is the retired player with the most jersey states led.
What Was Shocking?
Some of the states apparently bought some random jerseys. Yao Ming leads the sales in Montana which is far from Houston, the state where he spent the whole of his NBA career. Charlotte Hornets then led Montana for team jersey sales.
Fans can’t figure out the connection between Mike Bibby leading in Alabama. Billy appeared for six different divisions and retired in 2011 and it is not understandable why the state is buying his jerseys that he actually leads in Alabama at this high rate?
We thought it was obvious that late Kobe Bryant would lead in many states for his jerseys but it was only in Alaska.

While only seven current players make the list announced by Lids, NBA in January 2022 had announced the top, -selling NBA jerseys based on NBAStore.com sales from the first half of the 2021-22 season and the Lakers and LeBron James ruled in that too. Stephen Curry stayed the favourites of fans at number two followed by Giannis at three and Kevin Durant at 4.
