Sirico was born to an Italian-American family on July 29, 1942, in New York City and died aged 79 years. He was raised in Brooklyn’s East Flatbush and Bensonhurst areas. Robert Sirico, a priest and co-founder of the Acton Institute for Free Enterprise, is Sirico’s brother.
