Takemichi walks home with Hinata and Naoto after class. Naoto later returns home, noting he detests wasting time. Hina and Takemichi both feel that he sounds similar to Kisaki. Takemichi discovers that Hina and Kisaki attended the same primary cram school. Hina also adds that Kisaki was present when she first met Takemichi. Takemichi made an effort to protect Hina from middle school students at the time who were bullying her.
Hina and Takemichi decide to meet up before ending things on Christmas Eve at Umishita Park. Meanwhile, Takemichi recalls Hina telling him he dumped her on that day in the future. Hina’s father extends an invitation to coffee and requests that he end his relationship with Hina. As he doesn’t want her to become involved in Takemichi’s illegal behavior.
