The Ruby Trichy Warriors’ P Saravana Kumar took the most wickets in the TNPL in 2021. In nine matches, he has 13 wickets and a BBI of 3/24. Throughout the competition, he averaged 19.30 and 14.7 strike rate, with a 7.84 economy.
G Periyaswamy of the Chepauk Super Gillies took the most wickets in the TNPL in 2019. With a BBI of 5/15, he took 21 wickets in nine matches. Throughout the competition, he averaged 10.47 and 6.47 economy rates, with a strike rate of 9.7.
In the TNPL 2018, the winning team’s AB Tanwar grabbed the maximum 15 wickets at an average of 22.06. Albert TUTI Patriots’ N Athisayaraj Davidson got 13 wickets at an average of 19.23.
With an average of 13.41, R Sai Kishore had the most wickets (17) in the TNPL 2017 series. Albert TUTI Patriots’ Washington Sundar and N Athisayaraj Davidson captured 15 wickets each.
W Antony Dhas of the side Chepauk Super Gillies took the most wickets in the TNPL 2016. He got 14 wickets in all, including four consecutive wickets in four deliveries of a match. M Ashwin of the Dindigul Dragons grabbed 13 wickets at a 17.07 average, while S Harish Kumar of the Lyca Kovai Kings took 13 wickets at a 17.46 average. In just nine innings, Washington Sundar, R Sai Kishore, and R Aushik Srinivas each claimed ten wickets.
