Tholi Prema, starring Pawan Kalyan and Keerthi Reddy, has become one of the most successful films in PSPK’s career. The movie was released in 1998 but has recently joined Tollywood’s bandwagon of re-releases.
The Re-release of the Movie
On June 30, the movie had a mega re-release on 300 screens all over the Telugu states. The director of the movie A Karunakaran was seen watching it with a throng of people at the Sandhya 70MM theatre in Hyderabad on the second day of its re-release.
Fans fought for the chance to take a selfie with the filmmaker who made a masterpiece for their favourite hero, Pawan Kalyan. Even on the second day, all the yelling, jubilation, and paper confetti took place inside the screens.
The Plot of the Movie
The protagonist of the novel is Balu, an errant college student who wants to move overseas and start a family while hanging out with his friends. He runs across Anu one night as he is leaving, and he immediately develops feelings for her.
Later, he meets her and becomes friends with her. He finds out that Anu is waiting to get admitted to Harvard University and has returned from the United States to spend time with her grandfather. Anu falls in love with Balu as he puts his life in danger to protect both Anu and a kid from harm. She declares her love for Anu when the time comes for his return. They both agree to get back together once Anu fulfils her goal.

The film also features major roles for Vasuki, Ali, Nagesh, Venu Madhav, Achyuth, Prasanna Kumar, Narra Venkateswara Rao, and PJ Sarma, in addition to Pawan Kalyan and Keerthi Reddy in the primary lead roles.
Box office Forecast for the re-release of Tholi Prema
The re-release of the superstar’s picture, which his fans eagerly anticipated, saw phenomenal box office results. The movie generated a sizable gross on the first day of its re-release.
Day 1: Rs. 1.5 crore rupees
Day 2: Rs. 85 Lakh (Approximately )
Rs. 2.35 crore were collected over the course of two days.
