The popularly acclaimed Test documentary series will give fans and viewers yet another glimpse into the Australian dressing room.

The series has achieved major success in recent years, with the inaugural season detailing the rise of the Australian Test team during the 2019 Ashes campaign against England.
Following the success of the first season, season 2 centred around Justin Langer’s departure as head coach along with the team’s overseas tours against Pakistan and Sri Lanka throughout 2022. With the new season set for release, find out what it entails.
The Test Season 3 series preview
According to the official media release by the CA, season 3 of the series will feature the events of the World Test Championship final along with the dramatic 2023 Ashes series. The series will also feature some epic moments against old rivals as well. CA stated during the announcement that the Test will provide:
unparalleled access to the Australian team during their triumph over Virat Kohli’s India in the ICC World Test Championship and the memorable Ashes retention.”
Notably, Australia won the prestigious WTC Final in the UK, before retaining The Ashes against England in the following months. However, with controversy surrounding the five-game series, fans can expect to see all kinds of drama and developments in the series, particularly surrounding Alex Carey’s stumping of Jonny Bairstow.
The Test Season 3 release date
According to official reports, season 3 of “The Test” is set for a release on May 24, 2024. While talking about the show, directors Adrian Brown and Sheldon Wynne shared about it saying:
Given how dramatic the World Test Championship Final and the Ashes in England were, this season promises to share the riveting moments that took place behind the scenes that have never been shown before

Interested fans can watch the live stream of the entire series on Prime Video, like the past two seasons. The popular streaming platform will cost just AU$9.99 per month and include the new series for all subscribers.

As of now, the producers of the show have not revealed the number of episodes for the series. Notably, the first season featured eight episodes, while the most recent season had just four episodes.
