The Plot
The protagonist of the crime drama series is an unknown guy who metes out justice to the country’s most vile criminals who have slipped through the system. When a criminal doesn’t face justice, he’ll send out a text message asking if the public is in favor of executing them. If more than half of the votes are in favor of punishment, this anonymous online figure will give the criminal a taste of their own medicine. Kim Moo-chan, Kwon Seok-joo, and Joo Hyeon embark on a high-stakes manhunt to identify the perpetrator of this punishing act.
“People are busy watching the screen,” Prime Video says of the narrative. When the person with the mask known as “Gaetal” appears, the Killing Vote officially begins.
What To Expect in The Killing Vote Episode 8
Mu-chan concocts a scheme to introduce Seok-joo and Min-soo. Things get tough when long-lost rivals reunite. People rally in favor of re-executing convicted felons as a new Killing Vote approaches. Ji-young thinks of a way to protect her son. Finally, while Mu-chan feels confident in Gaetal’s identity, Hyun is not so sure. However, a terrible accident could separate her from her loved ones forever.
The series reveals the shocking events from 15 years ago. Present-day Mu-chan keeps probing Min-soo, who keeps up the charade. The former divulges his doubts about Min-soo, prompting the latter to reflect on his own blind spots. After Ji-hoon’s assistance, Hyun is able to collect proof, at which point his tragic relationship with Seok-joo becomes clear.
