As Myung-joon’s daughter’s surgery date looms, Sang-yoon uncovers a secret at Ro-hee’s house while Myung-joon prepares to confront the chaos head-on. His desire to give Ro-hee a chance at a normal life faces a formidable obstacle in Jayden who is determined not to let go.

In Episode 7, Ro-hee devises a plan to outsmart Jayden by staging a ransom demand through Myung-joon. This unexpected move leaves Jayden and Choin Dong-jun baffled. Meanwhile, Hye-eun shares her traumatic past at the police station by shedding light on Choi Dong-eok’s sinister experiment and Park Cheon-wol’s guilt. Though Hye-eun asserts her innocence in the current case, she firmly believes that Myung-joon could never harm a child.
Jayden learns of Hye-eun’s revelation and confronts Myung-joon. He wants answers about her involvement in the kidnapping and whether he was aware of her past. Ro-hee witnesses Myung-joon being brutally attacked and realizes Hye-eun’s connection, though unaware of her dark history.
A mysterious call to Taek-kyun presents a new challenge as a female voice demands payment in exchange for her silence regarding Ro-hee’s survival. Jayden is unable to outsmart the caller and reluctantly agrees to the terms. Meanwhile, Ro-hee and Myung-joon launch their daring escape plan, successfully overpowering the remaining guards.
