2023 Thailand Masters Open men’s singles schedule, date, venue, fixtures, & first-round draw
Numerous top-ranked players, including the current world champion Viktor Axelsen and the Indian ace Lakshya Sen, will miss the Thailand Masters, but winning the competition won’t be simple for the Indian shuttlers. Mithun Manjunath will have a tough test from fifth-seed Kenta Nishimoto if he wants to qualify for the second-round. At the Thailand Masters, Sameer Verma will face sixth-seeded Li Shifeng in his opening match.
Sai Praneeth will play Christophersen to begin his journey at the Thailand Master, and Indian star Kiran George will compete against Lee Chia-hao, among other matches. Since many in-form shuttlers won’t be competing in this forthcoming competition, Indian shuttlers will be confident of taking home a medal in the men’s singles division. According to the official schedule, this tournament will be played in the the Nimibutr Stadium of Bangkok beginning from 31st January through 5th February.

2023 Thailand Masters Open: BWF points award system
According to the BWF Points System, the champion of the 2023 Thailand Masters Open will earn 7,000 BWF points compared to the 5,950 prize for the runner-up. Considering this upcoming tournament is a BWF Super 300 tournament, each first-round loser will bag only 1,670 BWF points.

2023 Thailand Masters Open: prize money distribution
Owing to it’s status as a BWF Super 300 event, the total prize pool will be $210,000 with $15,750 going to the champion of men’s singles category. It is known that each of the semi-final loser from singles category will earn $3,045 compared to the reward for the runner-up.
