However, her Chinese opponent won the second-set 21-18 to force a decider before winning the final set 22-20 to qualify for the final. During the other semi-final of Saturday, Han Yue overcame her Taiwanese rival Hsu Wen-chi in straight-set to secure 21-11, 21-11 victory.
