2023 Thailand Masters doubles category schedule, date, venue, fixtures, & first-round draw
In the doubles category of 2023 Thailand Masters, Indian fans were disappointed after the results of Tuesday as third-seed Gayathri & Gopichand crashed out from the first-round after losing 9-21, 10-21 against the unseeded Japanese pair of Miyaura & Sakuramoto. Meanwhile, fellow Indian pair Tanisha Crasto & Ashwini Ponnaappa were eliminated after losing against Tan & Xia by score of 15-21, 18-21.
Elsewhere in the men’s doubles event, Indian challenge came to an end as all of the competing pairs crashed out from the very first-round. According to the official calendar, this competition will start on January 31 and end on February 5 at Bangkok’s Nimibutr Stadium.

2023 Thailand Masters: BWF points award system
According to the BWF Points System, the 2023 Thailand Masters champion will receive 7,000 BWF points as compared to the runner-up, who will receive 5,950. It being a BWF Super 300 tournament, only 1,670 BWF points will be awarded to each first-round loser in the next competition.

2023 Thailand Masters: prize money distribution
As a BWF Super 300 event, there will be a total prize pool of $210,000, with $16,590 going to the doubles category winner. Each singles semi-final loser will receive $2,940 instead of the $7,980 awarded to the runner-up.
