J.C.Prabhakar Reddy is the son of late Kethireddy and he was born and raised up in Anantapuramu District, of Andhra Pradesh, India. He finished his schooling in Antapuramu and further did his graduation from Andhra Pradesh which is his hometown.

JC Prabhakar Reddy was elected as the Tadipatri Municipality Chairman, Except Tadipatri TDP ย and he lost all the municipalities in Andhra Pradesh to the ruling party named as YSRCP. JC Prabhakar Reddy won as Councilor from the Tadipatri Municipality ward number 24, Alongside Mydukur municipality in Kadapa district. Tadipatri is the only other municipality where TDP has been a winner in less seats than the ruling YSRCP in the entire. He was also a member of the Lok Sabha from 2014 to 2019.
Recently properties worth INR 22.10 crore were found attached with J.C. Prabhakar Reddy and C Gopal Reddyโs names. The connection of these properties with the MLA was found by the Directorate of Enforcement. These properties owned by Prabhakar and Gopal were seized based on 2002, Money Laundering Act and this case is associated with the BS IV vehicle scam. By profession, Gopal Reddy is a civil contractor who lives in Tadipatri, Andhra Pradesh and he is quite close to J.C. Prabhakar Reddy. Gopalโs firm has fraudulently registered vehicles as BS IV and sold them.
