Ju-man manages to return to the prayer hall, but he is still troubled by the spirit of Sung-Cheol. Go-eun observes the session and is surprised as to how Ju-man could be so relaxed about letting his people die.
Ju-man returns to see Do-gi after the appointment, but Kyung-goo informs him that Do-gi was busy and the only schedule he had was for two years from now. Ju-man is stunned when Do-gi threatens to call the police if Ju-man does not leave his estate. At the same time, Go-eun defends Jin-hee from the loan sharks. They were bullying her for the money Jin-seon received from them. He requests that Jin-hee hold out until her sister returns as soon as possible.
