The Tata Mumbai Marathon is a World Athletics Gold Label Race, organised by Procam International. The 19th Tata Mumbai Marathon’s international event ambassador is Katie Moon, a Two-time pole vault World Champion and 2020 Olympic gold medallist.
For the first time ever in the World Championships’ history, two competitors shared a gold medal together. This gave her a great deal of respect for both the sport and her rivals. The 32-year-old American pole vaulter will be competing in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris to defend her championship.

When is the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024?
The Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024 will be held on Sunday, January 21.

On Thursday, August 10, registration for the 19th Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) started, and the governor of Maharashtra, Ramesh Bais signed on as the first participant in the event.
Open to amateur runners, the full marathon registration period ran till November 30, 2023, or until all available spaces were filled, whichever came first. It opened at 6 p.m. on August 10.
By registering for the 19th edition, all stakeholders will have the opportunity to upgrade to a TMM Green Bib and participate in the TMM Agro Forest programme, which promotes environmental preservation. One tree must be planted as the minimum commitment for an upgrade, and this requires a one-time investment of Rs. 635. Log in here for the registration details.
As per a report inย Times of India,ย based on the timing certificate that each participant submitted during the registration procedure, slots will be confirmed in order of the fastest runner.
To promote more female participation in both the full and half marathons, a limited number of running spaces are set aside for women. A certain quantity of spaces has also been set aside for Persons with Disability (PwD) in the half marathon.
