At the Asian Games in the year 2010, Tarundeep Rai won a Silver medal in Recurve’s men individual and became the first Indian archer to be in the Asian Games and win a Silver medal. That very year Rai won his first medal in the Archery World Cup by securing Gold in Recurve men’s team in China, by bagging a Silver medal in the same event at the Porec Archery World Cup in Croatia.
In the year 2012, Tarundeep Rai bagged a Silver Medal at the Antalya Archery World Cup held in Turkey. In the same year, Rai also competed in the London Olympics 2012 but there he failed to win any medals. At the Asian Archery Championships of the year, 2016 Tarundeep Rai won the Bronze medal in Recurve men’s team event and gained his medal which he lost in the 2012 Olympics.
