Tarek Fatah’s family and education
Tarek studied at the University of Karachi. He settled in Saudi Arabia, before moving to Canada in 1987. He is survived by his wife Nargis and two daughters namely Nazia and Natasha.

Tarek Fatah career
Tarek Fateh was a long-time member of the Ontario New Democratic Party and he ran unsuccessfully in the 1995 provincial elections being the party’s candidate in Scarborough North. Tarek also served as Ontario NDP leader, Howard Hampton.
From 1996 to 2006, Tarek Fatah hosted a Muslim Chronicle, which is a weekly Toronto-based current affairs discussion show on the CTS and Vision TV, basically held for the Muslim community.
From 2009 to 2015, he was a broadcaster on a Toronto radio station with CFRB Newstalk 1010. He appeared as a regular contributor on the John Moore Morning Show. Fatah co-hosted Friendly Fire with Ryan Doyle from 2009 to 2011.
From 2011 to 2015, Tarek hosted The Tarek Fatah Show every Sunday afternoon. He had been a regular host of “What The Fatah” which is hosted by the New Delhi Times on their own YouTube channel. The talk show focuses on current and all International Political trends. It has been massively watched in countries including India, Pakistan, and Canada
In 2017, the Indian Department of Police arrested 2 men who got hired by Chhota Shakeel to assassinate Fatah.
