2023 Singapore Open day 3 schedule, date, venue, fixtures, & second-round draw
On Wednesday, Indian ace HS Prannoy defeated local favorite Lin Y-h by score of 21-11, 21-10 to seal his spot in the second-round of the 2023 Taipei Open. However, Indian star Mithun Manjunath succumbed to 18-21, 21-14, 16-21 defeat against Taiwanese ace Chou Tien-chen, who will be eager to defend his men’s singles title.
It is confirmed that the second-round matches will all be played on Wednesday, and top-seeded Tai Tzu-ying will compete against Indian rookie Tanya Hemanth. Meanwhile, quarterfinal berth will be on the line as Indian shuttler Parupalli Kashyap will face-off against Su Li-yang in the 2023 Taipei Open’s second round.

2023 Taipei Open: prize money distribution
Since the Taipei Open is a BWF Super 300 event, each singles champion will get $15,750 from the $210,000 total prize pool. The supposed prize money for the singles runners-up is $7,980, however the semi-final losers would only get $3,045. Taiwanese star Hsu Wen-chi, who was seeded fourth, suffered a surprise defeat to unseeded Sim Y-j, earning her $735 in prize money.
