According to reports, the final ticket price of $299 (24000 INR) has been reduced to $225 (18000), while the ticket price for children has also been reduced to $60. If India had made it to the final, the game would have been watched by millions of people across the world, generating a huge profit for the ICC.

Winning the toss, England decided to call India to bat first. Batting first India managed to put 168/6 on board, thanks to Hardik Pandya and Virat Kohli’s knocks of 63 and 50 respectively.
