On Sunday, Watanabe Koki won the Swiss Open men’s singles title with an unexpected 22-20, 18-21, 21-12 victory over Chou Tien-chen, who was in fine form. Indian men’s doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy & Chirag Shetty put on a stellar display earlier in the day to win the gold medal, as the second-seeded pair defeated Chinese duo Ren Ziang Yu & Tan Qiang by the score of 21-19, 24-22 within 54 minutes.

By easily defeating Dane shuttler Mia Blichfeldt in the women’s singles final, Thai star Pornpawee Chochuwong clinched her maiden title of the 2023 BWF World Tour. Meanwhile, China’s Jiang Zhen Bang & Wei Ya Xin upset Malaysian pair Goh Soon Huat & Lai Shevon Jemie in the mixed doubles final with a thrilling 21-17, 19-21, 21-17 victory.

It is known that the 2023 BWF Swiss Open’s singles event winners got awards totaling $15,750 because the tournament was one of the BWF Super 300 competitions.
