As per the reports, the singer Bibi will be making her acting debut with the Season 2 of Sweet Home.
On Monday, September 5, it was announced by the showrunners that Bibi, who’s known as a R&B singer will be joining the Netflix’s hit show.
The showrunners have announced that the suspense thriller is going to be back for Season 2 and Season 3 simultaneously.
Cast of Sweet Home Season 2
As per the reports, it was confirmed that aside from the regular cast from Season 1 including Song Kang, Lee Jin-wook, Lee Si-young, Go Min-si, and Park Gyu-young, the show will feature more new characters.
As per the announcement, along with the cast of season 1 and Bibi, a few other famous personalities as Yoo Oh-seong, Oh Jung-se, Kim Moo-yeol, Jung Jin-young will be seen as the regular cast for Season 2.
“Sweet Home Season 2” Release Date
Netflix hit suspense thriller, Sweet Home was released back in 2020. The show tells us the bizarre story of a hermit-type loner high school student Hyun-soo, whose character is played by Song Kang.
Hyun-soo has lost his family and moved to an apartment. The drama is based on a famous Webtoon of the same name which has gained much popularity by capturing the survival stories of residents who became monsters due to an incident in an isolated apartment.
Season 1 of the show had ended with the inhabitants of the apartment complex moving following the aftermath of the incident.
However, there was still some questions left unanswered as the mystery around actor Kim Do-hyun’s return after his character was assumed to be dead in the finale of Season 1.
As for the release date of season 2, the showrunners haven’t officially commented on the release date for the upcoming season, however, as per various reports, we can expect it to hit our screens in late 2023.
