Both Chief Minister and Governor to attend the show, know the Suryakiran Air Show in Puri date, timing and venue
On September 16, the state’s capital will host the stunning Suryakiran Airshow put on by the Indian Air Force (IAF) aerobatics display team. In Bhubaneswar, the IAF will display the air show above a section of the Kuakhai riverbed. Both Governor Ganeshi Lal and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik are expected to attend the performance.

Since there will be a sizable audience for the presentation, extensive security arrangements have been arranged. More than 50,000 people can see the airshow, and there are plans for at least 1200 spectators on the riverbank.
The Surya Kiran Aerobatics Team of the Indian Air Force will exhibit the air show over the Bali Jatra Ground on the banks of the river Kuakhai in Bhubaneswar and near Raj Bhavan in Puri.
As the air show is being organised for the first time in Puri, people are quite excited to witness the event. On the 18th, the people of Puri will be able to watch this daring air show from the beaches in front of Blue Flag Beach, Niladri Beach and the beach in front of Digabarini Chhak starting from 10am till 11am with the show timing being 20-25 minutes and free to watch.

IAF personnel arrived in Odisha to assess the venue’s readiness for the air show. The airshow is now being practised in advance of the performance.
The administrator of the Suryakiran Airshow Team Ridhima remarked on the event’s preparations, Today, they are doing the mapping. Their pilots are assessing the terrain to determine their performance location and strategy for September 16. The nine fighter jets will all get there by tomorrow, and then they willtalk about additional specifics of how they will perform in the spectacle then. They are attempting to present the finest angle possible so that viewers can see and completely enjoy it.
The performance will last 18 to 20 minutes. The start time is approximately 10am. It will be carried out in Puri just as it was done at Bhubaneswar. It will take place on Sunday in Puri, she added. They are operating HAWK aircraft on these flights. Indian manufacturer Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is producing these (HAL). The aircraft will be piloted by at least nine pilots. Three other pilots are also available, she added. On September 18, the air show will also fly over Raj Bhavan in Puri.

The IAF will also perform air displays outside of Odisha on September 26 and 27, in Guwahati, in Chandigarh, on October 8, and in Bareilly, on October 14.
The IAF’s 52nd Squadron’s aerobatics display team, Surya Kiran, was established in 1996. Numerous demonstrations are carried out, currently using Hawk Mk-132 aircraft.
