Apart from the gameplay footage released last year, there hasn’t been much information on BlueTwelve Studio’s new adventure game Stray but a release date is out now
The PlayStation exclusive game has been delayed several times, the most recent of which has pushed the release date out to Summer 2022. The game’s release date has been keenly anticipated by fans.

To assuage these anxieties, PlayStation Game Size recently tweeted that the game’s release date may be closer than everybody else believes. Stary is one of the most anticipated indie games of 2022 since it will be played from the viewpoint of a cat travelling through an urban environment.
Will players be able to enter the cyberpunk universe of Stray shortly?
Stray will be released on July 19 at 8 a.m. PT, according to files discovered in the PlayStation database, according to PlayStation Game Size. This corresponds to the Summer 2022 release window announced in a previous tweet from the official PlayStation account.
While the unusual perspective Stray would provide has piqued fans’ interest, a four-minute gameplay tour. A presentation last year gave them a glimpse inside the game’s sci-fi environment. Players will take control of a stray cat followed by a drone dubbed B12 from a third-person perspective.
The cat will travel through a cyberpunk world filled with robots. As they catwalk around the city, players will get a sense of the ambience while solving puzzles, avoiding obstacles, and interacting with NPCs.

Several delays have already occurred in the game. The unique feline game, originally dubbed HK Project, has been under development for over half a decade. The game was first mentioned in 2020, and a teaser released in January 2021 revealed an October 2021 release date.
The game’s publisher, Annapurna Interactive, said in July of that year that the game would be postponed. Until early 2022 to maintain quality and provide the greatest possible experience for players.
Even though Annapurna Interactive stated in February 2022 that the game was on schedule to be released this year. No other details about Stray’s release date have been revealed.
