“Don’t want to be the Fall Grinch, but here’s a sneak peek at Starbees’ winter menu,” he wrote. “RED CUP DAY IS NOVEMBER 17TH!!” he added. If this is true, then Red Cup Day will be on November 18 this year instead of November 19, as it was in 2021.

What Is Starbucks Red Cup All About?

Red Cup Day is a Starbucks promotion where customers who buy any holiday or fall drink at participating US stores get a free limited-edition reusable red cup. It only lasts one day in November, and there are only so many of them, so you can only get a reusable holiday cup while they are still available.

You can get a free red cup no matter how you order, whether it’s through Uber Eats, your local store, or your phone.

Brady Brewer, who is in charge of marketing at Starbucks, said he was “delighted” to bring back our reusable red cups for the fourth year in a row in 2021. “The red reusable cup has become a holiday tradition for customers, and it’s also a step toward our goal of reducing waste from single-use cups,” he said.

2021’s Cup Celebrated 50 Years of Starbucks

The design on the red cup changes every year. Last year’s design celebrated the 50th anniversary of the coffee brand. It was made of recycled materials and featured ribbon swirls that danced against a starry sky.

The first Starbucks opened in 1971 in Seattle’s Pike Place Market. It was a single store, and the name came from Moby Dick. Starbucks has more than 32,000 stores in more than 80 countries around the world. It roasts and sells specialty coffee better than any other company.
