At the age of 75, Rao had been grappling with health challenges for some time. However, he succumbed to his ailment a short while ago at a private hospital in Hyderabad while receiving medical attention.

According to reports, he was discovered unconscious after an unfortunate fall in his home’s bathroom, and he was swiftly rushed to Apollo Hospitals. However, despite their best efforts, he was declared deceased upon arrival. According to reports in the media, his mortal remains were brought to Tadipada, Vijayawada, where the last rites were performed on Friday.

Who was BS Rao?

BS Rao was a renowned Indian businessman and was renowned for being the founder of Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions. He has been in the news because he passed away recently at the age of 75.

His full name was Bopapana Satya Narayana Rao. He was married, and his wife’s name is Dr. Jhansi Lakshmi Bai Boppana. He was the father of two daughters named Seema and Sushma. While Seema is the academic director of Sri Chaitanya Techno Schools, Sushma is its CEO and academic director.

At the time of his death, he was 75 years old.

His career

Dr. BS Rao, a physician by profession, first worked in London and Iran before returning to his home in Andhra Pradesh in 1986 to create the Sri Chaitanya Junior College for Girls in Vijayawada. He collaborated with his wife, a physician herself, in overseeing the institutes.

The Sri Chaitanya group now manages 107 CBSE schools, 322 techno-schools, and 321 junior colleges throughout several states. Additionally, they have more than 8.5 million students registered.

He was also regarded as a pioneer in medical and engineering coaching during the past 25 years.
