The recent broadcast of the Nintendo Direct showcase for Splatoon 3 revealed a lot of details about the game.
The new update will have several new and returning NPCs, as well as new modes such as ranked Anarchy Battles. Besides this, there are several new and returning maps with fresh weapons as well as returning ones.

Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premiere Demo Release Date
The Splatoon 3 World Premiere Splatfest demo release date has been confirmed as August 27th. However, though it starts on August 27th, parts of the demo will be playable two days prior, on August 25th.
This is courtesy of Nintendo Life, who have made the pre-access to parts of the demo available for interested gamers. In the recent broadcast of the Nintendo Direct showcase, it was announced that this time, the theme for Splatfest is rock, paper, scissors.
Game Mode Features
The game is divided into two halves where the first half of the game starts as a 4v4. Following this, the second half becomes a 4v2v2 where the first place team must defend themselves against the other two teams.
How To Download Splatoon 3 Splatfest
Splatoon 3 fans who wish to play the new update can download the Splatfest World Premiere demo from the Nintendo eShop on August 18th. To join the action on your gaming device, you will need a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
