Know the schedule, date, time, venue, medal tally, standings, & streaming details of the 2023 Southeast Asian Games (SEA)
Unusually, no silver medals were given out during the Valorous competition that was a component of the 32nd SEA Games. This is due to the fact that both teams competing for third place were deemed joint bronze medal winners while the two finalists were named joint gold medal winners. All of this was brought on by a divisive Cypher spycam setup on Split that caused the final result to be delayed by more than 18 hours and caused the community to split.
Southeast Asian Games (SEA) 2023 live medal tally table, standings, medals winners list, results today, schedule for May 12, date and time
The 32nd Southeast Asian Games, which are now taking place in Phnom Penh, feature medal competitions in a number of esports games. Following a contentious grand final game between Indonesia and Singapore, the event featuring Valorant came to an end on May 11. The reported employment of a Cypher camera bug by Singapore against Indonesia on Split caused a lot of uproar. After many hours of deliberation, Frengky Ong declared that both teams will share the gold medal. The bronze medal was likewise split between Vietnam and the Philippines, despite the latter having legitimately won the best-of-three series with a score of 2-0.
Thanks to their sheer dominance across swimming events, Singapore have climbed to fifth position in the medal tally of 2023 Southeast Asian Games with thirty-five gold medals. Meanwhile, hosts Cambodia are sitting second with fifty-six gold medals, which is just two less than the leaders Vietnam. Similarly, Thailand have maintained their momentum to amass fifty-four gold medals and sit closely behind the top-two.
