What looked like a normal divorce between Dell and Sonya Curry, the parents of Steph, Seth and Ayesha has turned extremely murky as details of the separation have emerged over the last week.
Sonya Curry And Dell Curry To Get Divorced As Marriage Comes To An End
The duo who had opted for a trial separation back in 2020 had decided it was prudent for them to wield the axe on their marriage. While they had decided to separate back in June of 2021 with them filing for divorce in a North Carolina court, it wasn’t till August that details of the proceedings became public knowledge.
And its far from a pleasant disassociation with it now coming to light that Dell Curry has accused Sonya of being in a long extramarital affair with previous NFL player, Patriots’ Steven Johnson. While Sonya has gone onto strenuously deny the claims, she has admitted to being in a relationship at the moment with many speculating her partner to be rapper Drake.
Also, reports have emerged of both Steph and Ayesha siding with their mother over the entire developments. As per an insider, a family friend of the Curry’s, both the children are said to be livid with how Dell has handled things.
Sonya Curry Said To Be Joining The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
There’s been fresh development now with Sonya Curry said to be on the anvil of joining the reality show, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As per a Bravo executive, both Dell and Sonya had over the years pitched a string of shows to the network, all of which had been quashed.
Sonya has had a penchant for appearing on TV, one she’s now looking to fulfill by joining Real Housewives according to the executive.
“Sonya has wanted to be a reality star for years. She and Dell pitched a couple of shows to [Bravo].
“Their ideas were boring, and Dell didn’t want any excitement or drama in the show.
“We’re working on getting her on the Beverly Hills [Housewives]. Nothings signed yet, but I think she’ll be a part of next season’s cast,” according to the Bravo insider, the network owned by NBC Universal.
