Ahead of the launch, SEGA released a prologue animation to the game titled Divergence and starring Knuckles.
The prologue provides a sort of backstory story before the launch and shows how the knuckle fighter gets involved.
Sonic Frontiers is developed by the Sonic Team and published by SEGA. In Sonic Frontiers, players can use Sonic the Hedgehog to explore the mysterious Starfall Islands while collecting the Chaos Emeralds.
Sonic Frontiers Release Date And Time Countdown
The confirmed worldwide release date and time countdown for Sonic Frontiers is 21:00 PT on November 7th, as well as 00:00 ET and 05:00 GMT on November 8th. All of the above timings are for the PS4, PS5, and Xbox consoles and stated on the official PSN and Microsoft store.
For PC players, the Steam countdown states the release time countdown one day and five hours as of 11:00 GMT on November 7. This means, that the game will release on 08:00 PT, 11:00 ET, and 16:00 GMT on November 8, 2022.
The game will also release on Nintendo Switch tomorrow; however, there is no countdown available for it. The game developers have stated that gamers will enjoy a similar game experience on Switch an on other platforms.
Deluxe Edition Bonuses
Players can also place pre-order bonuses for the game to avail bonus rewards. The pre-order bonuses for any edition of the Sonic Frontiers will include an Adventurer’s Treasure Box. The box will contain a list of rewards like Skill Points, Red Seeds of Power, and Blue Seeds of Defense.
The Standard edition of the game will cost players around £49.99, while the Deluxe will cost around £54.99. Both prices come via the PSN store.
