Future 3D platformer Sonic Frontiers was created by Sonic Team and released by Sega. The player assumes control of Sonic the Hedgehog and journeys across the enigmatic Starfall Islands in search of the Chaos Emeralds after Sonic, Miles “Tails” Prower, and Amy Rose die individually after falling through a wormhole. Players will solve puzzles to obtain objects, engage in robot enemy combat, and combine platforming as well as iconic Sonic components like rings and grind rails in this, series’ first open-world game.

Sonic Frontiers Embargo reviews and early impressions
On November 7, 2022, the day before Sonic Frontiers is released, the review embargo is anticipated to end early. As a result, gamers may anticipate hearing what reviewers have to say about the game. Sonic Frontiers has attracted attention from both reviewers and players since it is rumoured to be Sonic’s first attempt at simulating an open world.
The game’s open world was made available to IGN for four hours of the preview.
