Australia’s Neil Robertson won the Snooker Masters 2022 final to become the champion for the 2nd time, defeating England’s Barry Hawkins 10-4, know the winner prize money
Robertson’s victory comes ten years after he originally won the coveted invitational event.
He took a 5-3 lead in the first session and converted it easily in the evening, helped by Hawkins’ frequent blunders. Robertson is the tenth player to win the trophy several times.

Robertson secured his position as the most successful non-British player in snooker history by winning his sixth Triple Crown event championship, adding to his 2010 World Championship and three UK Championships.
The 39-year-old has been in superb form this season, winning his second title following the English Open in November and finished second in the World Grand Prix to Ronnie O’Sullivan.
Robertson avenged himself by defeating record seven-time champion O’Sullivan in the quarter-finals at Alexandra Palace, then going on to defeat Mark Williams in the semi-finals on the last black, despite needing two snookers in the deciding frame.
Robertson said: “I got over 300 text messages stating I’d never seen anything like it [the semi-final], and when I walked in, everyone was asking, ‘How about yesterday?’
Neck To Neck At Masters 2022
Both players received a standing ovation in the final, and despite neither being at his best in the first session, Robertson built a 5-3 lead with breaks of 50, 105, and two runs of 54.
With the score tied at 2-2, the fifth frame proved crucial, with Hawkins scoring 60 but fouling the green with his sleeve, allowing Robertson to snag the ball with a clearing from the final red.
In the evening session, Robertson found his stride with runs of 50 and 68, extending his lead to 8-4, and he finished it off with further breaks of 114 and 47 to secure a commanding victory.
